Child Safety Standards

Effective October 7, 2026 · Taken.dating LLC

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Taken prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Do not create, upload, share, request, promote, or facilitate such content or conduct. This prohibition includes grooming, sexualization of minors, sextortion, child sex trafficking, and any attempt to arrange sexual exploitation. It applies to profiles, photos, messages, and all other use of Taken.

Adult dating access

Taken's Android dating, discovery, messaging, and relationship-status search features are restricted to adults 18 and older. Do not misrepresent your age or use another person's identity. Account management remains accessible to users who cannot access these features.

Report a concern

Use “Report member or content” in the app from a conversation or member profile, select “Unsafe content,” and describe the concern and the relevant message or photo. A report reference confirms it was received into the Taken review queue. You can separately block the member. You may also contact support@taken.dating about child safety, without including illegal imagery. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Action on child safety reports

Taken's safety process is to review concerns, remove prohibited material when we obtain actual knowledge of it, restrict offending accounts, and preserve only information necessary for security, evidence, or legal obligations. Confirmed CSAM must be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or the relevant regional authority as applicable. Do not download, reproduce, or forward suspected CSAM to ordinary support email. Taken does not promise continuous emergency monitoring.
