Delete your Taken account

Request deletion in the app
Sign in to Taken, open Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete account, and request the confirmation code sent to your account email. Enter the six-digit code and confirm permanent deletion. Deletion cannot be undone.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@taken.dating from your Taken account email with the subject “Taken account deletion request.” Include your Taken username if you know it. You do not need to reinstall Taken to submit a request. We must verify that the request belongs to the account owner before processing it. Do not send your password, identity documents, or private photos in email.
What deletion removes
Your account becomes unavailable, and Taken processes permanent removal of the account, profile photos, verification uploads, and facial registrations. Required billing, security, or legal records may be retained for their necessary purpose. Protected backup copies follow their retention cycle. See the Privacy Policy for retention information. Contact support to ask about your request or any retained information.
Deactivation and subscriptions
Deactivation is temporary and retains account data. You can reactivate by signing in again. It is separate from permanent deletion. Deleting or deactivating Taken does not automatically cancel a subscription: manage it through the Apple or Google account where you purchased it.
